I DON'T NEED YOUR LOVE THAT BADLY
©Jay Bertalan
I've been away on a holiday, but I'm back in the race again
Every so often I think to myself that I'm crazy for trying to win
Not that I need the excitement and speed
but my head is beginning to spin
Wrote you a letter for worse or for better, it's down to the final goodbye
Nothing is easy when love is at stake, as I sit and await your reply
Hard to believe that you ever receive
all the letters I've sent through the sky
So make no mistake I have come to terms
with a life I once called lonely
And it's plain to see that it's killing me
I don't need your love that badly
Such a surprise when you open your eyes and discover the feeling is gone
Sorry to say it's a waste of my time, can't you see that the damage is done
When are you going to admit to yourself
that you're living your life on the run
So make no mistake I have come to terms
with a life I once called lonely
And it's plain to see that it's killing me
